Well, I arrived on Tuesday evening at the Hotel San Lorenzo, situated in the heart of Florence, just to quickly find out that I was a day early upon my arrival in the lobby. The owner, who is of Cuban descent was friendly and generous enough to quickly sort me out with a room that I could stay in for the extra night. The following day I quickly met up with Danielle who sorted me out with payment methods for the room and a quick briefing of the task ahead.
After having a quick coffee and a bite to eat with Danielle, I decided to head up to Piazza Michaelangelo - where I happen to take this picture from, for anyone planning to visit Florence this is a must do. It is about a 20 minute drive with bus number 12 or 13 from Statione SMN up to the Piazza. There you are embraced with the charm of Florence and the general province of Tuscany (Toscana).
There are a few restaurants and kiosks if you get hungry. I quickly found out that it is a hot spot for locals and tourists alike. Locals like to head up here to get away (from the already relaxed lifestyle of Florence) and read a book or work on some things. Lastly, if you're planning to convince a girl to go out with you - I highly recommend you take her out on a day on this mountain.
