The Book of Kells & The Long Room

The Book of Kells is one of the oldest manuscripts in the history of the world and contains four gospels of the bible written in language and shows extravagant artistic decoration of the books. Personally, I didn't find that too interesting because I can't read Latin and because all bibles are the same.

Secondly this is home to the famous Trinity College long room library. This is an amazing sight to see, they have stored copies of some of the most famous books in the history of literatur; many of which are first editions, prints, etc.

To top it off they have a collection of something like 1,000,000 books and have a right to a copy of any book published in Ireland or Great Britain. Fantastic. Unfortunately you are not permitted to take photographs of the the exhibition or the long room, so you all must settle for a picture of the entrance. Entrance fee is 8.50 Euros for Students.
